ChiroTouch practice management software: plans, billing and alternatives

ChiroTouch says 12,500+ chiropractic practices run on it. Its site lists what every plan contains and the price of none of them, and insurance billing is a separate stack on top. This is what a practice is actually buying.

Fits if

ChiroTouch

You bill insurance at volume (Medicare, personal injury, workers' comp) and want notes, claims, a clearinghouse and eligibility checks from one chiropractic-only vendor. Budget for the Billing Suite and a clearinghouse option on top of the plan.

Look elsewhere if

ChiroHD or Jane

You want the price before the demo. Both print theirs. ChiroTouch prints none, so every figure arrives through a sales call and a written quote.

ChiroTouch software: what each plan includes

The pricing page sells three packages, each one everything in the last plus more: Start for daily operations, Grow for engagement and multi-location work, Scale for the AI marketing layer. Every plan comes with AI core features, guided onboarding and unlimited support. SmartFit exercise programs are included in Scale, an optional add-on on Grow.

ChiroTouch billing: how insurance work is priced

In ChiroTouch’s own FAQ, insurance billing tools are optional add-ons. A practice that files claims buys three layers, and the quote should show each as its own line.

  1. A plan: Start, Grow or Scale

Notes, scheduling, payments and the patient record. No plan includes insurance billing on its own.

  2. CT Billing Suite

Practice ledger and full billing visibility; Bulk statement and superbill generation; Advanced AR views and AR follow-up; AI compliance scans for documentation and billing. Required before either clearinghouse option.

  3. One clearinghouse option

Volume-based claims, for practices with lower claim volume: billed at the practice level on total monthly claim volume. Unlimited claims, for high-volume billing practices: unlimited claims processing, subject to a fair use policy.

In both clearinghouse options

  • Real-time eligibility verification
  • Claims scrubbing before submission
  • Electronic claims submission
  • ERA auto-posting

Named services

  • CT ProClearTrizetto clearinghouse
  • CT MaxClearChange Healthcare clearinghouse
  • CT Verifyeligibility checks

The insurance edition is marketed for private insurance, Medicare, personal injury and workers' compensation claims. ChiroTouch quotes 98% as the payer acceptance rate its ProClear clearinghouse can reach.

Accepted is not paid

An acceptance rate counts claims that got past the payer’s front-end edits. A claim can be accepted and still be denied or paid short weeks later. In the demo, ask for denial and first-pass payment rates by payer for practices your size, and compare them with your own remittance history.

The Billing Suite’s compliance scan reviews notes and codes before a claim goes out. Test it on the two things a chiropractic audit reads first. Does a note that lists two regions stop a 98941? Does a maintenance visit with the AT modifier get flagged? The chiropractic CPT code lookup lists what counts inside each region, and the chiropractic billing codes guide sets out the AT rule the scan should be enforcing.

ChiroTouch cloud and EHR: Core, Advanced and the browser

Today’s ChiroTouch is a cloud EHR: ChiroTouch says it runs in a browser on any device. The product pages still split it into two editions:

A cash practice can skip the billing stack completely; an insurance practice cannot. The AI scribe, Rheo, writes a draft SOAP note from intake answers, typed context and the last visit. That saves typing. It does not make the note more defensible, because an audit reads for a finding that changed since the last visit. Whoever signs the draft has to put that finding in. The chiropractic SOAP note examples show what one looks like.

What a ChiroTouch quote has to answer

With no list price to compare, the quote is the only document you have. Ask for these lines in writing. The more the rep wants to talk about them on the phone only, the more they matter.

ChiroTouch alternatives

Two systems a chiropractic practice can price without a sales call. The full field is in the chiropractic EHR software comparison. If the clinic is mostly physical therapy, start with physical therapy documentation software instead.

Chiropractic-only

ChiroHD

  • Stand-alone EHR$339/mo
  • Implementation, one time$799
  • Data migration, one time$499

On an annual term, paid monthly, with no per-provider charge; unlimited providers and users. Runs in the browser. The closest like-for-like: a chiropractic-built system whose first-year cost you can add up before the demo. Read from its pricing page on 2026-10-26.

General clinic

Jane

Prints its plan prices and sells insurance billing as an add-on on its Practice and Thrive plans. It sells itself as practice management for health and wellness clinics in general, not chiropractic alone, so expect fewer chiropractic-specific shortcuts. Its plans and the add-on price are set out in the chiropractic EHR software comparison.

Plan contents read from each vendor’s own pages on 2026-10-26. Customer counts and the acceptance rate are ChiroTouch’s claims, not ours. No affiliate relationships; no vendor has reviewed this page.
