Rehab & Measurement

9 tools · 10 guides · 1 comparison · 20 pages

Range-of-motion norms, outcome measures, band tension and the home programme the patient takes away on paper.

Measurement first, then the programme. This shelf holds the reference values a clinician checks a goniometer reading against (cervical, lumbar, hip, knee, ankle and upper-limb norms, plus the ROM chart), and the scored outcome measures that turn a patient’s own report into a number you can re-test: the DASH, the QuickDASH, the Oswestry index, the Neck Disability Index and the LEFS.

Watch the direction of each score: DASH, ODI and NDI rise as function falls, the LEFS rises as it improves. The exercise side of the shelf (band work by tension, a staged neck programme and the home exercise program builder) is built around one rule: a patient follows a short sheet they can read, not a long one they cannot.
